How to play Mini Golf
Try Mini Golf at your own pace and keep its objective in view. Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. Look at what changes after your first action. Read the objective before making your first input. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.
Three original obstacle courses; wall bounces and friction.
A careful first round
Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal. Notice the feedback after each input.
Your goal
Sink all three holes within twelve strokes per hole. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Check the rules when you are unsure.
Step by step
- Aim a stopped ball.
- Set power and putt.
- Wait until it stops before another shot.
- Use Next hole after sinking.
Controls
Touch aim, angle/power sliders and Putt. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Avoid pressing the same control repeatedly while a move is being processed.
A useful example
A soft final putt can sink where a fast crossing would not. Compare this with the rule that governs the move. Choose a deliberate next step.
Watch out for this
The hole accepts only a sufficiently slow ball. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
